Throughout their lives, the entrepreneurial couple have been committed to their values of "commitment, responsibility and meaning" - both professionally and privately. With enthusiasm, untiring commitment and support from his wife Rhéane, Felix Suhner has built up the small hotel group over the last few years. After 20 years in the operations, the graduate hotelier and trained chef decided to shift his tasks to the development of the hotel group. Together with his wife and the team of the Balance Familie, additional values for guests and hotels are created true to the vision of "living the good". Their passion is hotel architecture and the design of wellness oases. In their spare time, they find ideas for new concepts together with their two children at international trade fairs and in the hottest hotels at home and abroad.
Our values determine our actions and guide us in our everyday lives. Our values commit us to accepting our responsibility and direct our daily work clearly and unambiguously. Our values say what we stand for, what we represent and how we want to be perceived. Whatever we do, we do it focused on our three core values - committed, responsible, meaningful.
Our maxims show us how we should behave - and work - in everyday life. Our brand, our identity is experienced and perceived primarily in direct contact with people. This creates an image in the other person; an idea of what the Balance Familie is and embodies. That is why we have formulated binding guiding principles for our behaviour, which consist of three supporting pillars: Yes-philosophy (committed), clear leadership (responsible) and harmony (meaningful).
1972 Opening on 18 June as a hotel home SPM (Swiss Pentecostal Mission) as a conference and holiday centre under the direction of Jakob & Sylvia Zopfi.
1983 Annex building "Waldhaus" is inaugurated on 10 September.
2003 Transformation of the former SPM cooperative into a public limited company, Hotel Seeblick AG. The management of the hotel is handed over to Urs & Ana Schaub.
2005 Renovation and reconstruction of the wellness area.
2008 Renovation of lake view hall and lounge.
2017 In July Felix Suhner, entrepreneur and owner of the Balance Familie, takes over the Seminarhotel Seeblick. It is now called Seeblick Höhenhotel.
